Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. She spent most of her childhood listening to music from the past and boleros of the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs along with old classical pieces. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. She began singing and learning the piano with her mom, then began more intense singing training at the age of 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She furthered her training in music through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. As a student and being a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choruses. When she moved into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in the southern part of California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer in the traditional Latin American music at private performances. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects because of her love and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her love and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire particularly among the younger generation in order to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
