Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia, is a Spanish singer from flamenco. When she was a teenager she sang with traditional as well as popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to encompass soul and hip-hop. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in the year 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she received the Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third full-length album. The album featured collaborations with fellow artists and producers, including Cory Henry. It was released in 2022 because of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by the famous singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman to receive both awards.
