Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress, best known for the films Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. She first began her career acting during the 80s. Her fame was boosted by the film Tezaab starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. Next, she appeared with Aamir as part of Dil. As a child, the Mumbai-born dancer began developing her skills at a young age. She ventured into acting as young and fought for several years because the majority of her first films failed. In the end, she was one of the most famous actresses in Indian film. After her marriage was over, she took a few months off from acting before returning. Recently, she played an important part as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women across India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times to win Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of them. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India is awarded to Dixit. Also, she has earned a name as a social activist.
